I'd imagine it'd be like getting on a bus, but only needing a ticket.

I rode a train once. It was cool I guess. One of the comfier ways to travel but still just as boring honestly.

Also we have train tracks here in Baudette and I hear trains constantly.

Also I went to Portland. It was pretty cool, although I liked Seaside a lot more.

I love trains and Portland. I do wish the US would use trains more as a primary source of transportation. I read Atlas Shrugged and would really like that although a lot of those were just to transport materials, not people which is pretty much how it is here anyways.

I rode a train down the East coast sort of and have ridden trains from Del Mar to somewhere more North in California. Train tickets are always more expensive than I think they should be though. And my friend in Estonia rides trains all the time but that is Estonia, not the US

There's a chance I'll have to spend 4 hours combined time on train and bus to get there and back from a place that's a 1 hour round trip by car. But that's just the T for you.

Trains were my first love. My first word was "Thomas," like Thomas the tank engine. I was always fascinated with how they start in one place and then end up in another....always, every time. They just go places. My favorite part of "Milo and Otis" was when they just followed train tracks for a while and went to this meadow place. but I was like, well where do the tracks end?

Fuck, man, I fucking love trains.  baddood;

I was on the TGV one time, the Train au Grand Vitesse. Holy fucking shit, it was raining and the landscape was flashing by and it was FUCKING BEAUTIFUL and calm and peaceful and we were going at 80 fucking miles per shitting hour.

That's like the best goddamn train ever.

Even the shitty Boston subways are awesome. You see all sorts of interesting people, and as long as you don't make eye contact you won't get knifed. Good fucking times on the green line, man, good fucking times.

Shit man, I fucking love trains so fucking much.

We were studying the TGVs a week or two ago, was the one you rode on all red and purple on the inside. n_n
