I think we all used to do that. I was way too scared to slide down the stairs in a box though.

I didn't really play with boxes a whole lot. I was already hooked on video games from a pretty young age and I was obsessed with TV too so I was always in front of a screen.

My favorite box was when we got a frigerator. I played in it for weeks until my friend decided to pee on it.

Someone brought a large box on our bigHEY LET'S FUCK AROUND day at school (a la Solid Snake), and he hid under it for the majority of physics class before jumping out and surprising the teacher.

I liked boxes... never went down the stairs in one though; that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Perhaps more fun to me were the cushions from the couch that I'd play with when someone was using the pull-out bed
