Our hamster died

Normally I wouldn't be sad, because I didn't even take care of it and it mostly belonged to my sisters, but the email my mom sent me about it made me sad.

Chewy died today.  It was very sad.  This morning I went in there and he had really saggy neck skin, so I knew he was dehydrated.  I got a little dropper and gave him some water, which he drank.  But by the time I got home from work, I knew it was over.  I picked him up, he was unresponsive, and actually gasping for air.  He was so cold, so I just held him and covered him with my hands.  He kept gasping and I cried and told him I loved him, then asked God to not let him suffer so much.  He died in my hands within the next couple of minutes. Right before he died his little ears came up again like they used to be.

It makes me sad to think of my mom sitting there crying with the dying little hamster in her hands, and even sadder to think of how my sisters must have reacted.

The dog I had before my little shitzu pepper, Nalah was her name, she got really sick, she couldn't walk right, we tried to keep her hydrated and what not, but then my parents told me we couldn't help her, we had to put her down...

Her brother, Simba, who was owned by our former next door neighbors ran away, and is more than likely dead too.

 I lost a dog not long ago. The same sort of situation. I still cry when I think of her.

We had a cat named wally and a dog named Bell. Wally got hit by a car and we had to put Bell to sleep. I liked them both, but I can't say I was attached enough to them to cry over it.

Aw, even I felt bad after reading it. :'(
I've felt sad because of pet deaths, but none have made me cry yet. However, if my bird dies I'll be in tears for months. :'(

This stray cat we adopted recently got hit and died. We liked her alot, but our first cat wasn't too sad to see her go. She's lost any source of motivation in her life, though.

This will probably sound stupid but I cried when my goldfish died.. he died in the most terrible way and oh it was bad. It was while I was in California, too .
I have a dog named Shady that I really love and I get so sad when I think about her dying especially since I won't be here for her <333

My friend went to Japan with a lacrosse team and he said they were partying at some place and some Jap was drunk and fell off a balcony and one of the lacrosse kids help hold him up and apparently he was bleeding everywhere, and then the guy died in his arms, and so the lacrosse kid spent the night crying about it when they went back to the hotel room.
