No it is the stupid humane societies fault when they ( as in they the place we are getting it is a different kind of humane society were they put the dogs in foster care not in kennels.) found the dog there its foot was infected. They asked if they could take the dog to the vet and the humane society said you cant do anything for the dog for 14 days. Well once they finally got the dog the vet had to amputate the leg.

Any kind of deficiency in nature can be lethal, unless it can somehow help with survival in unexpected ways. I don't see how an infected foot can do that.
