was the game any good?
I was just wondering whether it is even worth giving a movie because it really just seems like Capcom is jumping on the game-to-movie train that was started by the Halo movie announcement some time ago.
I mean, Snake is writing the screenplay...
Just seems like a last-ditch effort to earn some more money.

It was a pretty good game. However, a lot of what made it fun(such as the amazing graphics and fairly fun online) won't go over to the movies well. Add in the fact that the main character has amnesia, and the movie will probably not be good.

In your opinion maybe...but as a game it was good. It scored mainly 8's across the board.
