How often do you actually sit down and eat with the rest of your family?
I probably only do it twice a week.

I sit at my table while eating since I don't want food all over my bed or computer but my brother eats in his room and my dad eats on the couch.

I don't eat breakfast, no one is here when I get home from school so I eat alone, at dinner usually me and my old man will sit down and eat at the same time. We do not speak to one anther, usually, nor even make eye contact. I join the table late, I'm a fast easter so I leave first too. And that's pretty much it.

Usually my mom eats after I do, but she's still there with me. At my dad's, my dad usually eats with me and my brother, but my stepmom has to watch her precious tv, so she doesn't eat until around 2 in the morning, even on weekdays. She's partially blind, so she can't work, but hot damn, I want to get to sleep, and I can't do that with the tv going on in the next room.

When my father is home, he just watches wrestling with the volume up to 30 so I go to my room.

When he isn't here, my mother usually watches Rachel Ray so I go to my room.
