The first Sonic on the Genesis was terrible, as well as Sonic 2 for the Gamegear.

Aside from those and Sonic R and the ones you listed, there aren't any bad Sonic games. That's about... 5 or 6 good games compared to dozens that are complete slop.

Okay, anything that wasn't on the Genesis or Gamegear or SMS is horrible.

And Sonic 1 on the Genesis and 2 on the GG/SMS are also terrible.

I'll object to these two. SA was a gorgeous and fun as shit game. SA2 could have been better, but overall was pretty sweet. so eat a dick.

Though I for one can't stand playing any of the classic Sonics. Its probably because I just suck at them though.

Gonna have to agree with Lawlz on this one. A lot of the older games were shit too. Sonic Spinball is absolute shit and the first Sonic isn't that great either.

The first level of Spinball is fun for a bit, but it dies after that.

It's like the first Sonic since people only recognize the first level and don't even want to remember anything after it.
