Good classical music

I second that, although I kind of hate 1812 Overture. The "Little Russian" and "Polish" symphonies (#2 and 3, respectively) are his best, in my opinion. Tchaikovsky is definitely my favorite, though.

I'd also recommend Dvorak, Wagner, and Brahms.

Any of Mozarts Concertos, Weber's Clarinet Concerto is good also.
