You stop playing a game because you suck at it or can't beat it. But then you go back to play it and you kick ass at it? Yeah this happens to me a lot, most recently assassins creed.

Happened to me with Star Fox 64. I died on Fortuna and could never make it past there. When I picked it up again a few years later, I absolutely kicked ass at it. doodthing;

Happened to me with RE4. Though it wasn't really a long time, more like a few days.
