Although you can't see the internal board, we were in the process of taking control of NSider2 when it was still that freeforums shit.  EJRaven then came in and took that, which is when I turned the focus to M_F's NSider shitz but that quickly grew out of control.  Snorkel and I still had authority over it but our original goal was never met. 
By the time Snorkel and I actually took control of NSF we had already given up on a full out merge since the size was too huge.  Our plans had pretty much been destroyed within the first week.
