Yes they do. But if I didn't have tissue handy, I most likely wouldn't have Q tips either. I only use my finger as a last resort.

there's really nowhere I don't like to touch, but I can't wear socks without shoes because the chafing on my toes is absolutely unbearable to me.

I'd go insane if I had to wear socks. With shoes it's not as bad, because I don't notice it unless I think about it, in which I would rip my shoe off and rip my sock off.
