2.7 times as much RAM as my computer (and ability to hold four chips?)
4.7 times as much total hard drive space
A dual-core processor
Four CD+RW drives
I say go for it thumbup; (way better than I would expect to have for like the next five years :'()

Wait... where's the graphics card? psyduck;

Also, question, why do the specification and components pages not make sense together?
Components says there are three hard disk drives each with 250GB, specs says there is one.
Components lists four RAM chips each worth 512MB while specs says there is two
Components lists four CD+RW drives while specs says there is one
Components lists two 9-in-1 card readers but specs says one

Four CD+RW drives

who the hell needs 4 cd drives unless you're some indie band trying to get your name out or something

most importantly just a cd drive today isn't anything special psyduck;

hell my g5 was on par with that in power (except it actually had a graphics card) and my new mac whoops it

I used to have an eMachine. gonk;
I later salvaged parts from it, and put it together with another computer I found in a garage.  Which is what I'm using right now.
It's still a piece of shit, but at least I can say it's not an eMachine.
