i couldn't imagine replaying that game, the levels are pretty straightforward and too easy

Well, I beat Final Fantasy IV last night. SNES version. While it did have a bad translation, unnecessary censorship, and really skimped on the details in the plot (a huge portion of the game's text was simply dumped), it was nevertheless a fantastic game.

Plot-wise, I don't know that special. But the characters are strong (as strong as such a translation allows), the combat is almost on par with VI's (though less refined, of course), and...I don't know, it's just classic Final Fantasy goodness. But the simple fact that it's less refined in every way than VI will never allow it to approach VI as my favorite SNES Final Fantasy.
