I can see where you are coming from, it's easy to see why one would think racing games aren't worth the full price.

Supporting a game that is not worth the full price is slightky different then supporting a game that's just shit. In the end though, I suppose buying NiGHTS is better then buying some damn shovelware game.

PSST--most people don't want anything fresh and original; most people love their generic war FPSes and foozball games and turn based RPGs.

I'm sure some people hate the game too, awesome. Hopefully they played the game, unlike the person in the first link you provided who only played the SP demo.
