Although I prefer unedited songs(the sudden pause in edited songs pisses me off), there is something about the second one that I like more.

Houdini

I dig the edited version, but the original suits the lyrics better.

Because there's so much shitty rap out there that people assume all rap sucks.

o troo fuken Dem Franchize Boyz snappin dem fingers

I should make a thread with a bunch of suggestions.  I mean there is so much great rap out there that people wouldn't even think of

Immortal Technique
Jedi Mind Tricks(or Jus Allah and Vinnie Paz by themselves)
Army of the Pharaohs
Outerspace
CunninLynguists
7L & Esoteric
Non Phixion (and each of it's members Sabac, Ill Bill, and Goretex do pretty good in their solo careers)
Sage Francis
Virtuoso
Tragedy Khadafi
I can go on for a long time.

Hell, even mainstream has great stuff

Fort Minor
Bone Thugs(their older stuff is better than the newer stuff.  Bizzy and Flesh were great parts of the group)
Nas
Tupac
Listen to a lot of Eminem's stuff that won't get circulation on the radio; it's awesome. Mosh and We as Americans are insane.

Rap goes for the same as rock.  You have to look for yourself. You can't listen to the shit on MTV or the radio, you'll never find great artists.

And remember, kids: not all rap is about bitches, hoes, and chains hanging low.

Claquesous

It's poison my nigga. I like the second version better. Dunno why.
