I have two computers in my room now, one on my TV and one as a normal computer, how do I transfer files between the two easily? Has to be very cheap or free.

The TV computer is for playing movies/music/tv shows/emulating video games.

if mac, FireWire cable and then restart one of them in Disk Mode

if PC, USB connection might work, otherwise DVDs are fairly easy and large unless you need to move more than a few gigs of stuff

another option is to just do it over your network via Shared folders unless your router is really shitty because then it would be slow

I'm thinking of going to the USB connection route. Can I watch a video from one computer while it's on the other computer's hard drive?
