i forgot about splatoon in all my switch staning in the other thread now that i think about it oops lol but thats probably because the multiplayer is kind of dumb as hell. for a multiplayer game it's INCREDIBLY FUCKING FRUSTRATING to try and play it with your buddies, especially online. if you're only ever going to play online by yourself, that's actually the definitive experience lmao fuk u nintendo

The player beats it by inking over the entire statue because its entire surface is solar cells.

So far, it's quite fun. I've only really been able to do turf wars so far, but even that is engaging me.

I'm not sure how I feel about it.
It's fun, to be sure, but there's really only one game type that's readily available, and not ranked. There's a couple other modes, but they're really only mildly adjusted versions of the main mode, Turf War.
Single Player is ok. Not great. Supposedly the expansion is better, but I don't wanna drop $20 on it.
Salmon run is fun, but not always available. I don't wanna have to play according to the games schedule.
Idk, I may return the game, and get something different.
We'll see
yeah, well, that's precisely why i would never spend $60 on a game like splatoon lol, let alone $80 for the complete package

t two copies of splatoon 2- one came with the switch I bought my fiancée and the other I bought so we could play online.
It's occasionally fun but it's incredibly stupid to try and join the same game together. I wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't get to play with my fiancée as I'm trying to get her into different types of multiplayer games- and the switch still doesn't have that many multiplayer games
We haven't played it in some time, the matches are fun but after like four games we usually get bored. We didn't get into any of the other types of play.
