If you're running shitty windows then run shitty opera because awesome Safari is only in shitty beta.

For Mac, Safari; for Windows, Opera.

Better yet, try both. Some say Safari is amazing, others say it sucks. Many say Opera is amazing, a few retards say it sucks.

Safari for Windows really isn't done yet.
They only released it to extend the marketshare but it won't be as fast as Opera cause its in beta.

Also, for anyone who owns a mac, try Camino.
It's the speed of Firefox with the aqua theme of Mac OS X.

I've used Camino; it sucks. Besides, you don't want the speed of Firefox on a Mac. Otherwise, I'd be waiting forever just to have Valentrinne's homepage load.

The only problem with Camino is that some sites don't support it.
I uninstalled Camino and I find Safari to be faster. That's only me though, I thought some other people would have better sucess than me with it.

Since you still have Safari 2.x installed, you should test out Shiira. I found 1.2.2 to be the fastest browser around... but then I installed Safari 3b and I can't find my OS X discs. caterpie;

Opera doesn't load a tab until the tab is viewed after it is opened and lacks extensions; and Safari is more of a security threat than Windows itself.

Don't complain about not having Safari 3. You can experience full-featured Shiira without it. powerofone;

http://shiira.jp/en.php

I know that 1.2.2 performed amazingly and has great features like the sidebar; not sure how 2.2 performs with 2.x installed, but I'm sure it's better than having to work with Safari 3.

Yes, Safari 2.0.4 is the latest non-beta version of Safari.

Shiira 1.2.2 was the fastest full-featured browser I have ever used for OS X. Sunrise is the fastest overall, but is pretty much barebones. It features tabs and bookmarks, but not much else.

I have a 160 gig harddrive and have only used about 29.5 gigs. As long as you clear out shit you don't need once or twice a month, you shouldn't even use up half of that. psyduck;

Besides, Shiira 1.2.2 is only 7 megs (2 is about 25) and Sunrise is under 1 meg.

I deleted System 32. I deleted every temp file on my computer, which I was told not to do. I was trying to speed the comp up which is pretty useless with a 2002 HP Pavilion. And then NOTHING WOULD FUCKING OPEN. So I scrapped up 1500 dollars and took a trip to the Mac Store, which is one block away from me.

Youre running Windows.
Therefore you've only tried the Safari beta.

Test more obscure browsers, then.

Opera has failed the center test. A while ago, Opera would center all the board names on Boyah's board index.

Besides, who cares about the Acid test... as long as it does what it does with some nice add-ons, I'm fine.

Then use Dillo. Even faster and it can't even load the Acid2 test.
