As a third party company, Atari and Sega suck. But when you toss in first party games, Sega destroys all of them. magician;

If I had to go solely with third party games, it'd be a touch choice between Konami and Capcom. Capcom has Megaman, Phoenix Wright, and Street Fighter; Konami has Castlevania and the manliest of all games, Contra.

EA makes nothing good aside from Simcity. I don't understand why people pay $60 for sports games instead of actually getting some friends and buying a $5 ball.
