Title: My GPU is pushing 176 degrees and my CPU is pushing 150

My Dad has pushed my Mom's iMac to Burnout and shut off about 3 times while on WOW

our iMac usually dose not get that hot. But playing WOW for 6 hours can put a tole on any computer

well at least CHECK if the vents are dusty. If not then switch your Mac to FireWire mode and it will cool it down

No... Macs have thermometers built into their hardware. All you need is program to view them

Turn it off and let it cool down. I bet the fan has carpet fibers and crap stuck in it.
