1080p on a 27" display here
which gives it lower pixel density than a 15" laptop at 768p lol
1080p I think my monitor is 22”? I’m honestly not sure any more lol
My main desktop monitor is 1920x1200 at 24". Basically 1080p but taller.
The laptop I use most lately is a Pixelbook, which is 2400x1600. That's about the number of pixels 1440p has (slightly more) at a 3:2 aspect ratio.
added an "other" option because i forgot about irregular aspect ratios like 16:10 and 3:2
When it comes to consumer tech (outside cinema, where 2K means 2048 wide) I usually see people use "2K" to refer to 1440p, not 1080p. It's a nonsensical misuse of terminology, but that's still how it usually seems to be used.

in a poll like this I think picking the closest match is better than just one big "Other" that includes all the ultrawides, macs, etc.
1920x1080
1080p, idk what size it is, around 21''
but i have two baddood;

i agree in general but certain aspect ratios like 3:2 and their associated resolutions are just so unusual that they necessitate an "other" category

this legitimately infuriates me (https://i.imgur.com/EJuZNn9.gif)
it literally makes no mathematical sense, and it's completely inconsistent with pre-established reasoning
if 4k is taken to mean 2160p, then 2k could only possibly mean 1080p
2k is far, far closer to 1920 (96%) than it is to 2560 (78%)
the ratio of 3840:4000 is exactly identical to the ratio of 1920:2000
therefore, only 1080p could possibly be 2k
so i make a point to use 2.5k to mean 1440p, even if basically nobody else does lol
17" laptop with 1920
24", 1080p, 144hz monitor.
Work is the same, but only 60hz.
mine is 75hz lol
1920x1200
it's amusing to think that my 6.2" shitph*ne has a much higher resolution than my 27" monitor does (2.5k vs. 1080p) lol
you can really see the difference on boyah in particular
