im offing 100 XVG aka Verge to the BOY who has an address for me to send it to (binance, bittrex [lol they're not accepting new regs for now], bifinex, polo [some ppl think the last two are ass tbh]). people are projecting it could reach a dollar a piece, rn it's fluctuating between 4-8 cents.
Binance is the easiest to get started with.
i know it's like only $4-8 worth of shiet but think of it like a....a digital plant that could grow in the future. im offing 100 digital seeds, there we go.

tbh i just looked at it as a way to make some $$$ for the short and long term run
it's literally just digital currency with ***************************PRIVACY************************, some platforms try to work for easier transactions, but ofc the biggest thing going for it is how it's unregulated by the gov't and is a worldwide currency. it's impossible to counterfeit because no one can crypt the same shit. and every other platform is just trying to gain some traction to be THE coin everyone uses, even if btc has skyrocketed hard.
personally, i could careless and am in it for the GAINS. when it comes to investing, all anybody needs to know is the basics; buy low, sell high, min-maxing if you're a true to the game. though if you want to be effective, and ive said it before- but you'll want to follow: prospects, motives, history, general consensus/discussion of whatever crypto you're seeking info on. or you can just follow what /biz/ says sometimes but always do research, and some people are just huge shills.
BTC is the foundation of all these coins; prices directly affect other altcoins. It's the blood of the market. It's almost always safe to hold it- but why do that when there are other platforms you can stem into?
my personal suggestions if starting out:
XRP, XVG
literally those are the best candidates, imo
regardless, i can hold it for you if you really want in on this
