i've felt weird as shit since i couldnt sleep last night and despite only sleeping 4 hours i feel awake and chipper today what the sam hill
drugs are bad kids
placebo effect
unless her anti depressent is weed and you're high
SSRIs don't start working until a few weeks of regular dosages.
did you take marijuana
just dont take them on a regular basis and then quit cold turkey, you'll get bad withdrawals (headaches/dizziness/vertigo).
ssris are the devil's sugar pill

aw man but that was my entire plan i wanna be in an alfred hitchcock movie
maybe i just needed to take a big dump idk
what kind did you take
Zoloft had an immediate effect on me whilst Wellbutrin and Effexor had no effect
I haven't been on ssris since three years ago
benzos don't count though giggle;
heh it was zoloft as a matter of fact!!!
it almost certainly is not whatever ssri you took that's made you feel whatever you're feeling today
even if you'd taken them for a month, you probably wouldn't have any significant mood changes
Quote from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_serotonin_reuptake_inhibitor#Depressionin mild and moderate depression, the effect of SSRIs is small or none compared to placebo, while in very severe depression the effect of SSRIs is between "relatively small" and "substantial".[4][10]
unless you had a preexisting but untreated depression
however you would get all the side effects, depressed or not
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_serotonin_reuptake_inhibitor#Adverse_effects
and look at the length of that list
lol

shit what if i took birth control on accident
at least i won't get pregnant :)
even as a male, you would literally see more (and more immediate) mood changes from a hormonal contraceptive than the ssri you took lol
hmm so i should probably talk to my doctor about getting some birth control then??
take some horny goat
I took my girlfriends antidepressant the other day. It didn't really help and the cat made it worse by spilling it on the carpet

...but what exactly about that quote strikes you as anti-male lol befuddlement
i was speculating that because of differences in average hormonal profile between men and women, a hormonal contraceptive might affect a male's mood differently than it might affect a female's
i will address your other weird tecpost concerns later, but i can assure you that neither of your other two examples is meant to be anti-male lol myface;

so mongler, if you want to be boyah's guinea pig, experience actual mood changes, test a hypothesis for science and potentially pioneer medicine:
try your gf's birth control pill and record your experiences here girl;

don't actually do that lol
And that's how mongler got gynecomastia n_u

If you're curious what those side effects are, just look at what people say about transgender hormone therapy. That's more-or-less the same thing as a man consuming those combined birth control pills.
basically, don't take it unless you want boobs
I take estrogen and I'm not taking progesterone but I want to ask my doctor for it. Those pills contain both of them.
thanks for the insight

have you observed any changes in your own mood(s) since beginning hrt y/n
and somehow it's incredibly ironic that feminizing hormones have the effect of impeding child birth in women lol
what an interesting coincidence that it's almost exactly the same steroid cocktail as is used in hrt

There was so much stuff happening in my life around that time so I wasn't really able to notice anything I could clearly attribute to hrt.
It seems all the effects I've had were very gradual and slow compared to the average, so it's even harder for me to notice changes.
but yeah my mood probably improved a bit

the part of the menstrual cycle that's known to cause irritability in some people is also the time that a woman's hormone levels most closely resemble a man's hocuspocus;
and that fluctuation is roughly related to the reason adding more female hormones can reduce the frequency and intensity of the cycle and inhibits conception
but anyways, yes, the medications that transwomen need are generally based on taking advantage of side-effects for medications that are usually intended for birth control, menopause, and high blood pressure

yes. Firehouse is only okay if you eat it there. They steam the sandwiches so if you take it to go it will be soggy and disgusting as fuck. Eating it there is okay but it's really expensive for what you get relative to other sandwich shops
