ok screw you guys you made me think it through. while i agree it is a general thing at my job thr majority of the staff are women and i get to hear them from my position at the office.
my bigger issue is with this character you're supposed to inherit and maintain with these people, simply by your proximity to them and working 8-10 hours days together 5 or more times a week.
like i'm not your friend. i refuse to br buddy buddy with people i forget the moment i walk past the door to come in and don't think about until i get there in the morning.
and if you refuse to accept that or think it's whatever i don't give a crap i get to choose who are my friends and simply working with me does not grant that privilege. i guess i am raging against industrialization that every bohemian has raged against but that's my biggest gripe.
