Check out La Marzocco cafe by the space needle-like definitely the flagship coffee shop in Seattle. Shares a building with KEXP the local independent radio station and there is a neat lil window into their DJ booth and you can listen to them while chilling.
Capital Hill has cool night life, gasworks park is cool, there are about a million breweries once you get closer to Ballard which is kinda fun. I'd be down for some fine craft beers if and when you arrive giggle;
