this could go in like 3 different boards so idgaf im posting it here cuz this is my favorite board and fascists will move it wherever if they want to anyway
ANYWAY homies i'm trying to bulk sell most of my Xbox 360 collection because i'm moving and could use the space and own most of this shit on PC now anyway. it's something like 40-50 games i need to sell off. its typical shit like alan wake, call of doodies, battlefields, the orange box, borderlands, blah blah, all complete in box to varying degrees. i'm interested in selling the entire thing as a lot as i don't have the time nor patience to do this one-by-one. my question is whats the best way???
i don't anticipate getting much, like maybe $60, but how do i maximize dat capital. i really only can think of craigslist or ebay. i guess ebay would have to highest potential for earnings if i started an auction at $40, but i am nervous about buyer weight on that site. like if someone's like WAAA THIS ONE GAME HAS TOO MANY SCUFFS IM MAKING A PAYPAL CLAIM and then i lost my 50 bucks or whatever, is that a thing that could happen helppp
eh i dont think there is a best way. there are probably some local gaming swap facebook groups that would work well and craigslist obviously. ive done a lot with both and am usually satisfied with what happens
ebay is a good last resort though since i think it is more guaranteed that you'll sell it but you'll probably make less money and have to worry about shipping
i dont mind worrying about shipping, i just dont know what ebays cut would end up being and if it would be so much that i'd be better off dealing with craigslist weirdos
based on my limited craiglist searches if i listed this for 60 itd be a damn steal. i see people posting similar lots for like $200 dollars sometimes, which lol
local game swap groups might be a good one, i'll look into THAT
it's tempting to put it for a low price just so it sells but then you get like 5 people hitting you up in the first hour and you're like shit i probably could have made more money lol
thanks for reminding me that at my new place of residence, selling shit is literally an option (http://www.openbiome.org/stool-donation/)

shit homie why don't i buy that off u
i mean if u want to buy 51 xbox 360 games of varying degrees of quality by paypaling me $60 + shipping i will gladly send them to u and get this pile of games out of my life
but i need u to decide in like the next couple days i gotta get this shit movin homie lol
what games are you selling with it nigga
i can compile a list later tonight, it's pretty much every every hot Xbox 360 game between its launch and 2011 that was also on PC, so like some CoDs, Orange Box, Alan Wake, Fallouts, etc.
i think that is a damn good deal
i mean in terms of gameplay value (assuming you'll actually play them and not let them sit under your bed like i did), it's a GREAT DEAL, like a dollar per 10/hrs of gameplay probably
i mean shit if you were to clean some of da cases (lots of gamestop stickies) and flip em individually, you could probably pull in $2-300 from this pile, but i'm just too lazy for dat
i have no money but i would actually have liked to do this lol
i got u hiro
ebay prob is the most likely solution. ive never dealt with craigslist but it seems risky hearing from family and online. idk about amazon, never dealt with it.
i've sold cards & games on ebay occasionally since 2012. i've only had one feedback go bad all because my product got lost in the mail...it was $15 WASTED. so now i do tracking for all items above $10+, it's not so bad.
i really think u should search every individual game to see their actual worth if u havent done so already. sell the pricier ones individually. sell cheaper ones in bulk.
undercut if you want to sell faster.
but if you really don't have enough time, i guess it's the most efficient way; selling as a lot
id def. try to max though but 51 games jesus
also fixed price will incur a seller fee, just to put it out there
if you don't want to put up with any bullshit, you have to describe their condition and just post a picture where any specific damage in addition to showcasing it (unless it's p obvious.) it doesn't have to be long. it's literally the best way to avoid consumer issues- they won't have anything to fight over.
in my experience selling stuff- ive never had an item returned to me.
but yeah putting it on auction doesnt seem so bad
also also
do not go to ups to ship, unless it's really necessary because fuck their prices. ugh i have one terrible story a few years ago i was truly stupid. FUCK i am cringing. i basically sold something for $100 and the shipping was $40 for medium sized box that was like not even 10 pounds. and i was tired of already doing errands, so i just said fuck it
worst $60 ever taken, not even including the 10% fee for fixed prices FUCK i cringed
here is a PHOTOGRAPH of said vidjas if anyone on boyah wants it lol, i will sell to a boyah for a solid 60 + shipping

thanks for the advice fam. i don't think anything i am selling has an individual value of above $10, and like i said, i really need to get this shit moved ASAP so i don't have the time to do 52 listings and clean 52 cases and ship 52 games (i added one cuz i bought dead rising on PC last night lolol)
by fixed price do you mean like a 'buy now' post as opposed to an auction? i was planning on putting it up as an auction and lettin' er go
i plan on taking a fuck ton of detail pics of all the games, but how much does a description cover? like i don't really want to go into detail like 'box A has a sticker, box B has a ding, disc C has some scuffies, box D is missing inserts and has a few dings, etc etc'. like i want to put some swooping statement like "games are all used and come in various conditions but all are playable. cases most likely have minor imperfections such as stickers scratches, scuffs, and in some rare cases, small slices, but nothing major. see included pictures for further details, and i am willing to give a detailed rundown of a specific title if needed. buyer assumes all responsibility for understanding the condition of the games in this listing, yadda yadda'. it'll be more well thought out than that obviously, but I just want to avoid having someone buy the lot and then 4 days later being like THIS KANE & LYNCH CASE HAS A DING TOO MANY ON IT, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! i mean i guess the best safety for that would be to literally list out each game's quality, but how stringent can i be with the "they're used games being sold as is dipshit, no refunds" in your experience?
and yeah i have tons of experience shipping shit from my old job so i'll get dat shit ON DA CHEEP hocuspocus;
thanks homie
