yeah i used to hear this all the time in sacramento too, since it's also the unreasonably hot valley of its respective state as well

i'd rather have heat from high humidity because then at least you know it'll cloud over later as a result and cool down (and possibly thunderstorm fuck yeah)

dude you do not want humidity. last week here it was in the 90's with 90%+ humidity so the heat index was like 106

Inarguably equal heat with humidity is worse.

But it's a joke when somewhere with 80 degrees and 80% humidity thinks it's more unbearable than 115 with 20%.

I think the biggest difference is like david said. In the desert you have 110+ degrees pretty much for 120+ days straight. In humid regions it sucks balls, deeper south esp, but you get rainy cool days to have a reprieve

I'll take 115 for a day over 95 with 80% humidity but Minnesota and Massachusetts ARE OUT OF THEIR ELEMENT

Drought doesn't mean it's more uncomfortable. Southern CA was in drought but it's still nice weather lol. Boston is currently in heavy rain. The high for the week is 87. The low high for the week is 78. Nothing special!!

just for training.  i would die if i had to commute that on a regular bases.  that curve on southbound i-17 near bumble bee is scary enough, i couldn't imagine doing it multiple times a week lol myface;
