Nice
Yeah I used to do that but it was falling apart and I figured it'd be better to be hardcore front pocket only
Yeah I always just use a regular wallet in my front pocket
yes
i feel insecure like someone may steal my wallet from my back so always in the front
mine is a bit bulky tho so i may consider buying something more slim...
i don't like putting my wallet in the same pocket as my phone or pens/pencils. so currently it has been going in back pocket

I only ever have my phone and wallet in my front right pocket, and front left has a cigarette case and lighter. I will carry a messenger bag just to avoid having to put a pen or pencil in either of those pockets
money clip, front pocket
i don't live in an area where i'm the least bit worried about having anything stolen from me, so there goes one legitimate reason to not put a wallet in my back pocket
other than that idk i've just always put it in my back pocket
how can you sit comfortably on a wallet? it is something that needs to be practiced from a young age?
try it out for a week or two

Yeah
But especially while sitting on it for long periods it becomes quite noticable

try it out in your front pocket instead
there's literally 0 reason to put it in your back pocket aside from "tradition"
front pocket gives you:
-easier access
-greater comfort
-better sense of security
regular wallet in front pocket, always

this pretty much
i never notice it unless i'm sitting in one place for a long time with my wallet in my pocket
like on a long drive maybe. sometimes then i have to take it out or switch to a front pocket.

Tradition?
First two are debatable though, and probably differs depending on the wallet.

Also, why? It's not like I made any claims one way or the other about wallets in a front pocket in this thread.
And anyways like I said in a different thread, I have my keys in one pocket and my cellphone in the other. Not putting my keys and phone together as I don't want my phone all scratched up, plus it would be too bulky and uncomfortable. And cellphone and wallet together would be too bulky also. And neither the phone or keys could go in the back pockets. And I'm also not hanging my keys from my belt/belt loop.
You guys sitting on bifolds or trifolds? How much stuff do you typically have packed in them?
i have my wallet touchin my ass at all times except when driving long distances
i got a nice new wallet its nice

tradition meaning men are typically expected to keep it in their back pocket for no reason whatsoever
and any sort of unevenness on your ass will mess with your spine

eh. Though I wonder if it started out because the front pockets were already occupied
sympa
maybe i will try this front wallet thing out
at least none of you ppl here chain your wallet to your paints, right? ugly;
I chain mine to my septum piercing hocuspocus;
wallet chains literally hurt me
no one here wears tripp pants
god i hope no one does
tripp pants remind me of tetsuya nomura's bizarre fashion choices for final fantasy/kingdom hearts characters
they don't look like something people in the real world ever wore

you don't notice it
also strongbad your wallet is ugly and horrifying despite easier conveniences
i used to carry my wallet in the back pocket but i got pick pocketed that way lol
i'll probably get a very slim wallet and use it on my front pockets from now on
i had a children's wallet so it was very thick and clunky so it could only fit comfortably in my back pocket
rip i had him for 11 years :'(
i was more upset losing my wallet than my money and SSN/ID
if you get buttons on your back pockets, pick pocketers cant pick your pockets
money clips seem awful and uncomfortable
I have this wallet: http://www.saddlebackleather.com/pocketidwallet?sc=8&category=87
it's pretty small/slim and I think it might be intended for front pocket use but I carry it in my back pocket because my front pockets are already full, and whenever I've tried putting a wallet in my front pocket it's a total pain in the ass to pull out
I also hate thick wallets though which is why I bought this one. trifolds are just awful

Yeah that is a downside but it actually looks cool with some cash in the (magnetic!) money clip. Also I got the gray version which is pretty
