I think I'll try Fedora, then Solaris. I would do it now, but I don't want to use a shitty Linux boot loader because it fucks up my MBR and I don't want that. I'm going to find a way to boot Linux using Windows's boot loader rather than that shitty GNU GRUB Boot Loader that Ubuntu comes with; but I'm far too lazy to do it now. Like I said, I want to wait until I'm finished with school so I can do it during the summer.
QUICK QUESTION SKITTLES: Can standard PC's boot off an external HD? It won't work for Macs. gonk;
I was thinking I could install it to my external using one of my iMacs, then pop it into one of my old PC's. (no DVD drives)
