i have a perfect vertical line going across my abdomen as a result of slouching pretty much uninterrupted from birth to death

do you mean horizontal

because i don't know how slouching would give you a vertical line

upon closer inspection, it's both

the horizontal one is actually more prominent

but yes i kind of fold oddly when slouching lol

i have good posture like 60% of the time
but it's so exhausting to maintain

and after the gym trying to maintain a good posture + silhouette is impossible
everything hurts too much :'(

only when i get really manic do i have good posture without trying
my depressed friends say that it's symptom of onset depression if you have difficulty maintaining posture
but perhaps they're really biased

i've slouched or leaned or sat back in my chair pretty much all my life; i've never even really thought to bother with maintaining good posture

said slouching gives me a visible horizontal line across my abdomen

slouching for too long gives you a sore back i am prone to slouching as i am prone to being as comfortable as possible i am trying to stop

when i used to be a lifeguard i would try and force myself to have good posture during my shifts
shit is sooooo hard
sitting up straight in a lifeguard chair for more than 5 minutes is one of the hardest workouts i've experienced lol

If you got good posture you can become a good poser.
