apparently my family got a free 8 pound chunk of deer and we're also having a goose

i've never cooked either of these so i hope i don't screw it up

also has anybody tried goose and how does it compare to turkey/duck/chicken

some sort of ham, maybe some deer jerky before proper dinner, assorted vegetables and fruits, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie

Christmas Goose, Peach glazed ham, deviled eggs, stuffing, chicken dumplings, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole etc

Goose is much juicer than Turkey

my family doesnt really do that much for christmas day.

but on christmas eve we just invite ppl from church over and they bring food.
my ex-guitar teacher brings this really good tomato pie or watever it is called. it is good shit
