Cut up vegetables without having the pieces fly off the cutting board?
i don't know. i don't think i've ever had this problem.

i only do this when i'm trying to cut as fast as possible
cut slower and get a sharper knife
this only happens with potatoes, but it's more because they slip on the dumb glass cutting board we have
i use a larger knife, place palm over the top of the blade halfway down and try to cup hand over the section of vegetable pile
