I just went in the kitchen to say hi, saw my sister was cooking pancakes, and recommended she cook them a little longer than the one she had just done. Stepdad says "take the fucking spatula then, you do can make all the pancakes" and then yelled at my sister to give me the spatula and that "he can't fucking talk to you that way". So both my sister and I told him he shouldn't talk to us or anyone the way he was, so he walks up to me with crazy eyes and says "do you want to fucking do this then?". I said "sure" since I'm sick of his shit, so he started walking outside saying how I need to respect him and let's go fight yadda yadda, but since I obviously didn't want to fight him he walks back up to me and grabs my shirt telling me to "fucking go" with him, trying to pull me outside. My mom slapped him and then she kind of pushed the door against him (he was in the doorway to the back yard) and locked him out.
Then my mom and sister were like "see Grant that's why you shouldn't say anything negative around him, I always tell you not to make problems"
So now there's a big hole right in the front of my favorite shirt
And they wonder why my sister's always at her boyfriend's place or why I never leave my room akudood;
sorry to hear that mr grant.
have you tried being not a total douchebag? if you want pancakes done correctly make them yourself, no one asked for your opinion you free loader.
dad was pretty unchill tho
There's a time in every man's life where he needs to take his own pancake by the spatula and flip it his own way.

in what part of the story was he being a douchebag
from the beginning when he rudely nitpicked the way his sister made pancake

unless a recommendation is nitpicking, I don't see a problem.
But hey, it wouldn't be the first time that Boyah's hopped on some bandwagon of hate. 5thgrade;
lol come on snowy don't take him that seriously, i think you were more offended by his comment than i was
i'm actually totally calm right now, and even then i spoke pretty normally and hardly moved, although i was breathing harder from the stress of the situation
my sister's bf wants us to all have a family chat now or something that he can mediate, which isn't a bad idea. my stepdad just needs (as he always has) anger management classes
in all seriousness though, when i was at your house i pretty well go the impression that your stepdad is just purposely confrontational at all times, like he has to scare people into respecting him or something. my stepdad was the same way with me, lol
not trying to be rude or anything but yeah man your stepdad is uh not the nicest guy

no you're absolutely correct
every time i'd say anything at all(not even bad per se) things about him to my ex, she'd say she doesn't want to meet him because he was incredibly negative.

we? you and your mom? he won't touch my mom even when he's fuming, so he just kept yelling and staring at me as my mom slowly pushed him outside
worst he's done is punch a hole in a wall when i was a kid, or grab me and shake me when i was like 14 or so

no it can be, share your story
but yeah i'm not confrontational at all, i knew it would just make things a lot worse if i went outside
