If you like the Flit Foxes, you'll probably like
First Aid Kit. They're a Swedish Duo o' chicks who obviously borrow a lot of influence from them. Some great, simple melodies and harmonies and good songwriting. I actually really enjoy their latest album quite a bit.

no hiro I was thinking of the 1981 film!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seriously you people sometimes.
Mettallica....
if you like Mastodon have you tried any other sludge metal
the dirty violent hateful sludgies from the New Orleans scene include Eyehategod, Crowbar, Buzzoven...
also recommend Dystopia, Kylesa, Acid Bath
Baroness sounds just like Mastodon so there's that
oh and since you like QOTSA you should probably check out Kyuss since they're kinda obligatory stoner/desert rock. also worth noting is DOWN, a stoner New Orleans band commonly associated with the metal bands i listed already but they're really more stoner rock than stoner metal
let me just mention Melvins again ok Melvins
aaaand if you like stoner rock in general then of course there's the non-sludgey stoner metal to look into too. Sleep and Electric Wizard being the obligatory starting points.

not really there's only one good mbv record (coincedentally it's the only good shoegaze album) [and it's not mindblowing]
kaz's recs are more on par with what you would like dp.
DP idk if you've listened to King Crimson but you should do that. In The Court of The Crimson King is their most popular.
also you shoujld check out Killer Mike. He just put out an album with some guy that was very well received (I'm not sure the BEST starting place with him. My supe at work has been playing him and I'm not really into rap that much but his shit is hot)
Down is an awesome band
