So I think I'll start streaming movies when I get set up.
The first night would be a Science Fiction Double Feature of Rocky Horror and Shock Treatment, but I have other movies as well. I don't have a set schedule, but what is generally a good night for you guys to attend?
And what would I need to do to get ready to stream? I would also like to stream future Wii U games as well. So what would I need there.
All help is appreciated. Let's get this happening.
sign up for a livestream free account
download procaster and vlc to play video
you could use a webcam to capture a television or you could use a hdmi capture unit to feed into the computer
you could also try twitch.tv. i'm not sure if its streaming software is lighter or whatnot, however that site seems more geared toward gaming streams unlike livestream.
also, if you do go with livestream, just make sure it's on the old livestream set up and not the new one n_u
I rarely do anything or go out on Sunday nights.
Sunday nights y/n
except 4 tonight
Some movies I have are Blu-Ray. Do they have special protection to disable streaming?

How much?
How much is a capture card?
jsut stream via webcam like kaz did
I love your carpet.
The Wii U set up is HDMI, and I would probably use it for DVD/Blu-Ray streaming too.
Shit. What can I do for a laptop?
What does an external use? Not HDMI?
they keep playing this ad during evo stream, maybe it's something to look into?

There are external HDMI ones but they're crazy expensive, and most streaming sites don't even support HD streaming without you paying for it some how. Just get an A/V or Component USB capture card.
I don't have any AV cables so where could I get a Component USB card?
Which would you suggest?
