itt: post a personal detail that you think most boyagers dont know about you
I came to Chicago to get away from my dad, who I love more than any other person, yet detest more than any other person and have been weirdly close and distant for my entire life.
I actually have a lightning-bolt shaped scar in the middle of my forehead. I was 7(?) and I was at the Y and I was walking into the locker room and someone was walking out and the handle hit me in the forehead. 9 stitches.
that's p. serious to start off w/- not saying that it's really bad.
anyway
my initials are
MIB
actually, all members of my immediate family are MIB
but i am the
youngest
I exist sometimes
My initials are VGC. One time at tech camp, there was a course for video game creation, which was abbreviated to and referred to as VGC. There was a sign hanging in that area that just said VGC. We all wore lanyards with nametags. So I took the sign and hung it around my neck in lieu of my nametag and nobody could do anything about it.

the best part about this post is that from the first sentence i thought you were just joking and it was going to be about harry potter but then it turned out to be real
that's how much it surprises me that you genuinely have a lightning bolt shaped scar on your forehead
I know, I figured without the story people would think it was a joke.
You can't really see it anymore, but you can feel it. And apparently when I get mad my whole face gets red except for the scar.

not enough high scores to even care about that :(
and when going through old possessions- we know who's is who's by handwriting. we don't label as much anymore for some reason.

I too have a clubbed thumb. My left is shorter than my right.
It's prevented me from living a normal life. I need to order specialty gloves from my local glove shop and everyone points and snickers when I pick up my order.
It has ruined many dates. Sometimes I pretend to reach for the check with my left hand accidentally and she'll see it and run out of the building and I'm left paying the bill.

sometimes i guess. i mean we kind of stopped being firends for awhile and then sort of started again. i certainly recall fondly when we were good friends.
- I can be pretty gross sometimes, hygienically or otherwise.
- Around my family I often speak with an accent that was developed about 5 or 6 years ago. We all use it besides my older sister. It is a silly accent, but it's simply become a habit for us. It sounds like some strange ethnic voice, with Mexican, East European, and a few other styles mixed together.
- Around my stepdad I sometimes use a few different accents, one being fast and high-pitched mumbling, and another being a stereotypical Boston accent, although I think there's some Chicago mixed into it too.
Expect to hear this a few times, Kaz.

I have a small scar on my right knee from when I hit my knee on an exercise bike because the lock on it broke
My lung collapsed when I was 4, so I have a scar on my left side and one or two on my back
I've gotten sun poisoning on both shoulders, so I always have freckles on them and the skin feels really weird compared to the rest of my skin
i also got sun poisoning on my shoulders/also the top of my left foot
I have crohn's disease

Haha! A few coworkers and I have developed a 'gypsy voice' and manner or speech to talk amongst each other. It's great for sending text messages that don't make much sense unless read in the correct voice and manner.
im not afraid of anything

i have a small spine curvature resulting from my legs being very slightly different lengths. for a few years, largely just in middle school, i wore a heel lift in one of my shoes to adjust for the difference and help my spine straighten out.
eventually i guess i realized how pointless it was and stopped bothering lol
I mostly am unable to sleep unless there is music playing in the background. This started when I was in like 3rd grade. I CAN sleep without it, but it's very difficult. When there is music, it happens a lot faster.
My spine is curved too kaz it's ok.
i shake my head whenever:
im in the middle of sleep
where everybody is gone and i can listen to a song in comfort by shaking my head
its been a habit ever since i was a kid and i can't stop. lol my brother gets creeped out by it when he remembers the times we shared a bedroom.
also, im unable to concentrate unless the tv's on. i just feel more lonely and need something there to at least seem like a "pace" is more constant than i am. i don't even watch tv that much lol.
I am the same with the tv
Erm, I can go with a lot of things
-I loathe college but know that I need a degree
-I've had a joke stolen by a professional comedian after he essentially confessed to it by actively noting its existence before stealing it, and I deleted the proof of its existence to avoid being "the one to rock the boat" and cause an outcry about plagiarism on the internet
-I'm a pretty emotional dude but am good at hiding it with feigned ambivalence
oh also I've only watched like one anime before but I love riffing on it

lol owned. i have literally no opinion of that guy, but i guess he kinda sucks now.
also imo jokes are meant to be stolen because that is how jokes have always been spread but fuck making money off of it. but also at the same time stealing tweets for jokes and appealing to Lamestream Audiences is a good way to make money. [see xkcd and probably some other people] but i guess unethical
but at same time funny.

how do you think media is made though
like, you need to be paid if you're legitimately making a service like writing for a TV show
and if you're stealing tweets to get paid you don't deserve to be paid for it because you're literally plagiarizing someone
not very funny at all tbh when someone gets paid for lifting other people's (sometimes hard) work
rob delaney sounds like the guy at work who watches a lot of stand up and pitches it to his coworkers

media is made from stolen jokes? all media ever? i am confuse what u mean.
i meant that stealing jokes for money is something that is 'dumb' and 'really shitty'
also u can make moeny off of twitter if You Believe Your Hard Work Desereves Money

not all media is made from stolen jokes
maybe similar subjects but you're crazy if you think everything you see is stolen in some form or another
and yeah you can make money off twitter ala Rob Delaney with verification but you need exposure from... say... popularity from making material that people don't plagiarize
Edit: okay wait I see what you're saying
writers need to get paid dude
how do you think media is produced
like you were saying that jokes are meant to be stolen but that's kinda patently false
i never said everything i see is stolen, but i do think everything existed before and after it is created tho.
but that is how ppl spread jokes?
A makes up joke tells it to B, B tells C, C tells D etc.
but when A tells B and B goes and makes infront of an audience and tells A's Joke and makes $$$$$ w/ no 'reparations' to A then that is Pretty Shitty and a Bad Thing To Do.
i think we are agreeing......
Intenssse
