The symbol that represents the pirate king Atomsk in the series FLCL is actually the japanese word for "adult" (大人), with the first kanji flipped upside down and placed on top of the second, with a circle surrounding the two.

i was expecting something stupid but that's actually something i did not know

but yeah that whole series is basically a coming of age story where naota is forced to adapt and grow up basically so

why am i taking this thread seriously
