amazon sellers tend to be pretty honest with their descriptions
if it says there's a box and instructions (the cheapest one does) then that's better than gamestop will do you

how hard is it to
go to the store
find the game
open the box
see if there's a manual

100% true

I've bought 4 or 5 SNES games off of Amazon and they were all exactly how they were described or better.
oh nevermind....

how hard is it to
go to the store
find the game
open the box
see if there's a manual
>gamestop
>putting anything in the box
90% of used games there aren't even in the original box
also
>ordering from gamestop online
>looking in the box
lol this will help lawlz's point
i went to every local gamestore and nobody had it so i went to gamestop (didnt do online since i wanted to trade stuff in and i wanted to not wait) and i traded some stuff and got it and it doesnt work
god dammit gamestop
Quote from: ilovesloths on December 06, 2012, 08:12:17 AMi traded some stuff
lol
did you have to trade like 50 games or what
if you really needed money you would've been better off selling a game or two on amazon or ebay and waiting a week for someone to buy it.
but seriously, gamestop is never a good idea and impatience is bad

i traded a few wii games that i dont need because i have a modded wii and pirate my games now
actually my wii is currently bricked lol but i will resolve that soon
also lol turns out that gamestop gave me the wrong version of blazblue. i went back today and they made things right.
i admit that gamestop is a huge ripoff and i know that i could make way more money selling them online but the ~$20 extra that i'd make selling them isn't worth the inconvenience of posting them, waiting, shipping them, buying a new one, and then getting it in the mail.
yea I've found a game I wanted (Lost Odyssey) at gamestop used and asked if they had a case for it, and they said no so I left without any purchase.
Gamestop is as lame as my mom, throwing away the boxes and shit. Cmon some of us are collectors. baddood;
*cough* the employees are just as bad most of the time.

they don't throw cases away though...most of the trades they get in dont come with a case/manual

oh really? That makes a lot more sense then.
Quote from: Snowy on February 13, 2013, 06:57:13 PM
why would we throw the cases away when we know most people won't buy it if it doesn't have the case
are you speaking on behalf of gamestop? I'm not sure if you mean, "why would gamestop throw away the cases ..."
I wasn't thinking, it just seems like every used game doesn't have the original case. And I
found it hard to believe that all those games were traded in without the case. But I guess that's the case...lolol
I even have bought new games there, and it was the last copy so it wasn't new, it was the one on display and they left out the manual. And that pissed me off.
