that's fuckin lame
it looks neat, but i can't help but wonder why
they redesigned the wii just last year and the last price drop took place last month befuddlement
the loss of such essential features for savings of $50 really is a shame, though awdood;
it's Canada only anyway

They said the Family Edition was EU-only at first, and look what happened. awdood;

oh awdood;
god the design is attractive
why does the wii u console look so bland when nintendo turns out products like this.
nintendo always does really good redesigns at the last minute
e.g. game boy micro, dogbone nes, dsi
this isn't one of them
also, it'd be hilarious if this system shipped with buggy firmware and the only way to fix it was to do a complete recall
people need to stop enabling nintendo by buying its products

the dogbone nes is hideous though. I think this one looks great, it's kind of like a sleek gamecube.

by "good redesigns" i was mostly talking about the actual quality/value of the re-release
this looks good but it's completely worthless
Considering that wifi capability doesn't add very much size nor cost to a device, I can only imagine this is the result of people at Nintendo struggling to find even more features they can remove from the Wii.
I can't find any pictures or articles that show whether this console has any USB ports on the back. Considering that Nintendo claims this thing has no online support, their Wii Menu modifications probably would also kill ethernet support (or at least remove the Shop Channel) regardless of whether the system has USB ports.

also, uh...
i know the price is already p. low, but uh...
i wonder if they're going to do anything special with the wii ifeelbetter;
They're going to remove even more features from the Wii while again keeping it at the same price as it has been y/n
The only remaining ways I can think of for them to make it worse (without breaking all compatibility with a large number of Wii games) would be to decrease the internal storage to barely be able to hold the firmware/system menu, require an SD card for saving any game save or downloaded games/channels, and removing at least one if not both of the USB ports. Or maybe they can remove the SD slot instead of the USB ports, break compatibility with any features requiring SD, and require USB drives instead of SD cards.
I was trying to joke and exaggerate when I made this post just two months ago, but it looks like Nintendo is better at breaking things than I can imagine. sillydood;
Though I can't find anything indicating whether Wii mini has USB ports or SD slot, it looks like there's a very good chance that Nintendo removed both. And there's also no information about its internal storage capacity.
Do you guys honestly think that it's a good design? It looks like a fucking happy meal toy.

don't happy meal toys look like cartoon characters or cars or something? huhdoodame;
They look like cheap plastic with bulky, simplistic parts. If they're based on something, it's a super-simplified, bastard-looking version of it.
It's a Happy Meal Wii.
Between Nintendo and Sony I say it's time to buy stock in Microsoft.
Dreamcast 2. Now is the time.
A better choice would be the Sega Neptune. giggle;
