Title: Next Generation Conversation
Post by: NOA_Haunted on November 05, 2012, 03:57:36 PM
Besides the Wii U, what do you think Sony and Microsoft are going to do with their next consoles?

I really don't see how they could improve graphics substantially to where they could be considered "Next Gen"
Or, any other tech upgrades that their current consoles couldn't handle.

What are your ideas/speculations?

I still think the rumors about a Sony and Microsoft merger in the console market would work really well.

lol wat
this is happening?

edit: oh so it's an emulation system
pretty cool but $200 is a lot

Post by: Samus Aran on November 17, 2012, 07:40:31 PM
yeah, $200 is a lot for what is essentially an MVS/AES port handheld

however, it's still kind of a big deal because many MVS/AES games are either ridiculously expensive, were never actually ported to the home console (AES), or were never localized

and the AES in itself is a very pricey investment

but they're all 15+ years old and easily emulated so there's no reason to buy one unless you want to display it on your shelf

well, i enjoy the fact that there is a new way to legitimately own these games without pirating

it may not be a big deal, but it's something at least

it's nice, but it costs nothing to manufacture and you're limited to what's preloaded

it may not be a big deal, but it's something at least
