I want to buy a few older scary movies for Halloween. What are your favorites?
I already am planning on getting Jacob's Ladder and have Blair Witch, Paranormal 1 and 2, Salem's Lot and a few others.

"In the mouth of Madness" is one of my favorites.
Yeah, it's pretty campy, but the premise is awesome and it ramps up well enough towards the end.
i dont know if it's consider "scary" but I liked the thing i watched it for the first time this past weekend.
the one with kurt russel i think they remade the movie recently
