Today I've decided to stop sitting around and actually go out and be productive; talk to my school, turn in job applications, etc. I made myself a bowl of cereal, and put on some music. I decided Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra would be a good choice. As the song starts up, I open up my blinds.
Mr Blue Sky Lyrics:
Sun is shinin' in the sky,
There ain't a cloud in sight [I look out my window, and the sky is totally clear. The past few weeks have been cloudy.]
It's stopped rainin' [It's been raining quite a bit too.]
Everybody's in a play
And don't you know
It's a beautiful new day. [Birds fly around in theatrical fashion.]
Runnin' down the avenue,
See how the sun shines brightly [I notice the sun reflecting off a car.]
In the city on the streets
Where once was pity,
Mr. Blue Sky is living here today.
At some point during the song I just can't help smiling at how perfectly the song is fitting into things. I even laughed a little, and sang along.
I've had my frosted mini-wheats, and now I'm ready to take on the day. wrench;
Such a kawaii morning~
