Title: oh god i think my harddrive is ded

Luckily all my games are saved on Steam, BattleNet or ArenaNet and my music is backed up with time machine akudood;


Windows can't read one partition of the drive (with the music) and I can't launch any games or music on the other partition.

OS X just hangs when booting.

why this hpapen

im going to buy an external hard drive in the near future.  500gb - 1tb

macs were blessed by steve jobs until he died

Yes.

And I fixed it.  Some sort of update stopped OS X from recognizing the USB keyboad and mouse at boot and Windows would not mount any partition except the Windows boot one.

I was able to unplug and replug the USB cables, and repair the disk using os x.  Now everything works. I still gotta do a time machine restore on os x so I don't have to fuck with the USBs.
