I'm pretty sure it's calculating it based on a super basic brute-force cracking technique, so those estimates are completely irrelevant.

Your password would be cracked almost Instantly

Common Password: In the top 240 most used passwords

Your password is very commonly used. It would be cracked almost instantly.
    Possibly a Word

Your password looks like it could be a dictionary word or a name. If it's a name with personal significance it might be easy to guess. If it's a dictionary word it could be cracked very quickly.
    Character Variety: Just Letters

Your password only contains letters. Adding numbers and symbols can make your password more secure.
    Length: Short

Your password is quite short. The longer a password is the more secure it will be.

Practically, not very secure, considering I use only about 5 different passwords for everything, using two of them only for particularly important things and using the other three for all sorts of miscellaneous sites for which I don't really care if my account is taken.

Most of mine are at about a year according to this site, but it looks like it assumes each attempt takes less than a nanosecond, which is too fast for even decrypting locally-stored data when given access to your hardware and is far from relevant to primarily Internet-based password systems.

I remember in high school I added asdfghjkl;' to the end of my password so after I typed in my password, I swiped my finger across that row on the keyboard and the last key was enter, so it logged me in.

So much swag.

marijuan: cracked instantly

marijuana: needs 22 minutes

Anyway I'd rather my password be easy for me to remember than uncrackable. And no, neither of the above is a password I use

For extra paranoia, for my previous post here, I actually did disable my internet connection after that page loaded and before entering in the text.

but only because I have such a terrible connection this week that it frequently resets connections on its own and yet another reconnect doesn't affect me much
