i have a .mp3 of an interview that i did with an individual over skype. i need to go through and transcribe shit. is there any program out there that would do it for me? i know that this sounds really fucking lazy but i have like an hour of audio and most of it probably won't be usable, so it would be nice to scroll through text.
You're wasting time. gogooggogoogo

haven't actually tried it yet
will report back once i have though
i once did that to a song i couldn't find the lyrics for, i slowed it down and down and down to where it sounded demonic and i got most of the lyrics figured out after doing that multiple times to every single segment for hounds on end at 3 am in the morning, but it ruined the song for me when i tried to listen to it normally again. it sounded so fast, like the singers were munchkins and everything was loopy qnd lsd like and yeah, now that i think about it, i should start doing that to more songs....
fuck i need my credit card for the trial version
fuck dontwannadothis
yeah that's called not really free
Yeah, there's really no decent way of doing this other than doing it manually.
I just got done with the audio from a few focus groups I led last week.
It's so completely and absolutely tedious.

So tedious. It's so frustrating when the interview is going slightly faster than your typing speed, forcing you to pause and recollect your thoughts every 10 seconds.
I swear, I took longer trying to find a program to do this for me than it actually took for me to transcribe everything. What does this say about me?
