Those are the minimum requirements from the college.
My laptop doesn't have 1gb of ram, it only has 512mb. awesome;
Also, the battery keeps dieing so I'll use that excuse too.
Microsoft Office? WTF, I'm going to be a rebel and keep Open Office.

If they just let me use Ubuntu instead of XP I wouldn't need it.
