my friend had captain morgan's and it was good, but i haven't had any other rum to compare it to so i can't compare

it's like vanilla extract except smoother, which is why it complements cookies

I've always found whiskey to be a softer liquor to drink, personally. Try drinking cheap vodka, people--then you'll really know what's it's like to have something to complain about. I've always found tequila to be the most disgusting, but I'll still drink it every now and then when the situation calls for it. It's called not being a pussy. Jesus Christ. In the end, who cares how it tastes? I'm drinking it for the alcohol. It's not a soda. :\

The only whiskey I've had a problem drinking straight was Jack but even then after a few sips the rest is fine.

Lol, Jack is the one I always drink (straight or with coke/dr. pepper). Not a very big whiskey drinker, to be honest--I usually just stick with vokda since it's what I've always drank. And yeah, after you've got a buzz going, drinking straight is no problem.

I've had some serious rubbing alcohol shit in my time, though. Ever had a vodka called Dubra? It's more popular in Connecticut than here, so maybe you haven't. The chocolate flavored version of it is the absolute worst liquor I've ever had, by far. I get the chills just thinking about that shot. :'(

Vodka and rum are probably what I'm least experienced with.

I've never had Dubra but I can't imagine that the chocolate flavor is worse than the bubblegum flavor I took a sip of when Selena ordered a drink with it.  The taste alone made me gag and puke.  akudood;


Then again I hate bubblegum flavored anything. Even as a child I disliked bubblegum toothpaste.

Sometimes it is a ripoff since you only get like 1-1.69oz (Usually 1oz, 1.5oz or 50ml) for the price they charge and you can usually just buy a 750ml or liter for cheaper than if you were to add them up for that same volume.

I know for Jack it's cheaper just to buy a 750ml but according to a guy i work with, he did the math out and there are some drinks where it's cheaper just to buy a fuckton of nips.

All of those brands taste uniquely awful. Jameson or bust for tasty whiskey, anything else is just getting drunk. Which is fine by me girl;

Of course as I've said many times I prefer beer, rum, vodka, tequila, etc
