I was a total loner in elementary school, I usually just went from person to person doing different things
often we would make up stories and play them out, usually involving sword fighting and such, usually influenced by dragonball z or zoids or whatever other anime was popular

Football, like Trevor I was a badass receiver. Played almost every day

Sometimes kickball, basketball, soccer...

When we had recess indoors I played chess

I pretended I was mega man. Or the power rangers.

Then there was kickback, where we just formed lines on both sides of the field and kicked balls back and forth and tried to catch them.

Suicide with a tennis ball and a big green board. Where you threw the ball at the board and someone had to catch it, and if they dropped it they had to run to the board before someone else threw the ball at the board. I think other people called it wall ball, but we called it suicide because someone usually got hit by the tennis ball when running back to tag the board.

4 square with crazy rules. black magic white magic, no babies or bubblies or something.

regular basketball, horse, and tether ball. I'm sure i played tag and I know I loved playing hide n seek with my cousins, don't recall ever playing it at school though.,

Wall ball, dodgeball, football, tag, avoid the leaves, and sometimes this bumper game where we put our arms around our chest and rammed into each other.

we had this game called "new york city" where the "immigrants" would try to climb up the tube slide any way they could to get onto the top platform, while the "police" on top would "beat them down" as efficiently as possible

there was also this other game where we ran around with those big foam hockey sticks and beat people with them

in the winter I think king of the hill and constructing Bag End were favorites

i always hated the days when everyone played kick ball so i just tried to be the farthest out beyond the bases and then deliberately missed the ball when the other team kicked it at me. (i wsn't allowed to kick for this reason)

The first one sounds like it was tons of fun.

We had something similar I think in elementary school but it didn't really involve a tube slide. Brilliant

omg we played this awesome game called "new york city"

some people would be at the top of the slide and the other would be at the bottom, the bottom people were immigrants trying to climb up and the people at the top were policemen beating them back.

we had no idea it was socially unacceptable in every way possible but it's fucking hilarious to think about.
