lol as if suburbs had quality housing stock
Let's go for a drive and see the town tonight. saddood;
oh god, i lived at the edge of some suburbs in tennessee
I once started exploring the inner realms and it was horrifying. I walked thirty minutes and only just started getting into the deep parts. Every road and house looks the same, and nobody has any sort of landmarks like trees or anything. There's also the fact that most roads loop, but they do it in such a crazy way that you don't know that they're looping.
if columbus couldn't find his way to india on an empty sea, i can't imagine how much worse it would've been if it were a thousand miles of suburbs
oh goddd
my gf lives in the suburbs, and i jsut came up to visit her
she's in burnsville and i have to suffer through all of southernmost 'burbs and it is just always so upsetting to me
I used to live in the suburbs. If I wasn't going from my house to the highway or vice-versa, I was getting lost.
guys what lol
It's largely because cul de sacs don't make sense and have twisting turning roads with dead ends making it easier to get lost. It would be easier if everything was on a grid pattern and roads were parallel. But thats too symmetrical or something for the us
i live in a suburb that's larger than new york city (by landmass)
why do suburbs have to be larger than the city they are spun from
