why learn french though. there are so many other languages that are more interesting and useful.

That is also how I learned Spanish.

I like the way french sounds to be honest. All the words just kind of pour out with ease.
my one friend is learning by Constantly watching tv shows/movies and reading books all in french. He started in like october and can read half of The Stranger now, but you have to watch and read A Lot. He said he watched the first season of Les Griffons 69 times

japanese spoken by older males sounds even more buttery smooth than french
I used to like the sound of French, but then I became aware of all the nasal and throaty sounds and now it just disgusts me. goonish
japanese is annoying as hell when spoken by young girls, but it's the best when manly men (e.g. me) speak it
